Loretta Coleman Ministries is busy at work. Once
again the ministry is reaching out in the community to make the
different in the lives of others. On Friday, November 30, 6:30 p.m.,
Loretta Coleman Ministries will sponsor their Annual Senior Citizens
Banquet to honor all senior citizens and to pay special tribute to
some heroic seniors who have made a difference in so many people
lives. It is the ministry belief that you must always give back and
remember those who have sacrifice for the benefit of others.
This celebration will be a night of elegance, entertainment and a
buffet style dinner. The speaker for the occasion will be Rev. S.
Allison Baker, Assistant City Manager for the City of Columbia. Theme:
We Have So Much To Be Thankful For. The Master of Ceremony will be
Deacon Nathaniel Stewart. Don Frierson from WGCV 620 Urban Scene will
be in attendance and member of the old staff from WOIC Radio Station.
This event will take place at Grace Church Banquet Hall, 5010
Monticello Road, Columbia, SC.
The purpose of this event is two-folded. First of all, we pause to
let senior citizens know that we have not forgotten them. Saying thank
you sometimes is not enough, sometimes, we much show our thanks.
Secondly, we are bringing together many of the old listeners of WOIC
Radio Station, in other words a family reunion one would say.
At this time, I want to extend a very special thank you to Mr.
Vince Ford, Rep. Chris Hart, Nathaniel Spells and Construction
Dynamics and Clint Flemming and South Carolina Community Bank for
embracing this project.
