WOIC_AM 1230 Gospel Program Receives National Award WOIC 1230 A.M. GOSPEL PROGRAM RECIEVES National AWARD.
Loretta Coleman, Gospel Director for WOIC 1230 A.M. received a national award from Blackmon’s Broadcasting for being name in the top 25 black gospel stations in the United States. WOIC 1230
A.M. gospel programming was chosen from over 900 other black gospel stations. The Gospel Director, Loretta Coleman and the Program Director, Don Hambrick both received a beautiful plaque and certificate, compliments of Blackmon’s Broadcasting.
Gospel Director, Loretta Coleman contributes success of Morning Devotions to God, a program director, Don Hambrick, who allows me to do my job without interfering, a staff that works with her visions and not against her and a listening
audience who supports the program and projects that is sponsored by The Morning Devotion Team. Loretta is a firm believer that being on the radio is more then playing music, it’s about encouraging, giving people hope, playing the type of music that can give you that spiritual energizer that you need to begin your day that is feel with many
challenges.
WOIC’s Morning Devotion Team consist of Deacon Nathaniel Stewart, who has been with WOIC for five years, Rev. Charles B. Jackson, Sr. has been with the radio station for sixteen years and Loretta Coleman, who has been with the station
for eight years.
WOIC 1230 Morning Devotion is for all people, young, middle age and the elderly. We play a little contemporary, classical and traditional music. The local groups of the Columbia area and the state of South Carolina play a big part in
WOIC’s gospel programming. WOIC caterers to everyone, regardless of race or gender. WOIC loves sponsoring community orientated events and helping those in need.
Tune is to Morning Devotions, Monday thru Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon and you will be blessed. You can also hear gospel on Sunday mornings and Sunday evenings.
