"The officials were amazed to see how brave Peter and John were, and they knew that these two apostles were only ordinary men and not well educated. The officials were certain that these men had been with Jesus" (Acts 4:13 The Promise).
It was obvious that these men had spent some time with Jesus Christ.
When people look at you, they should be able to tell there's something different about you. They might say, "I know there's something different about you, but I just can't place it. What is it that keeps you so happy all the time?"
Has anybody ever said that to you? When you walk into a room, something should happen it should seem as if the whole room lights up. People should sit up and take notice that you've been with Jesus.
I believe those religious leaders saw in Peter and John two things they couldn't get away from two things which revealed that Peter and John were preaching the truth: their boldness and the miracles that followed them.
