In order to have an effective prayer life, we must become an effective prayer warrior. And here's why: Satan's number one priority is to keep you from praying.
He doesn't fear prayer-less studies, or prayer-less works, or prayer-less religion.
He laughs at our efforts and mocks our wisdom. Yet, when we pray, Satan trembles. There may be times when we feel that God has lost our address and will not come through for us.
But as we keep the channel open, we will learn the truth of the Scripture that teaches: "No good thing will be withheld from them who walk uprightly."
Therefore, we can save ourselves from being eaten alive by worry, anxiety, and ulcers with this confidence in our Heavenly Father:
This is the confidence we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.
Psalms 145:16, 18-19 says that God will "constantly satisfy the hunger and thirst of every living thing. He is close to all who call on Him sincerely. He fulfills the desires of those who reverence and trust Him. He hears their cries for help and rescues them.
We need to learn to trust the promises of God. And, as we meet the conditions that are attached in the context of His promises, we will realize the fulfillment of those promises.
