There are those who seek comfort of God's promises while suffering. They persevere. Then there are those who stand strong in the face of mockers and critics. They grow even stronger.

Most of us crave the easy road, the journey of comfort. What we sometimes fail to realize is that it is in the storms of life that we are most suitably strengthened and equipped. Were it not for the difficult times we face, we could never be the select instruments of service chosen by our Master and finely tuned for His purpose.
 
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, use me in Your service. Remind me Lord, during the difficult days that these too can be a part of Your refining process. May hardship and persecution not make me bitter, but more suited for service to You, Lord. I know Lord, that Your grace brings strength that I might avoid the path of unrighteousness. Thank You for the power You give me that I might live for Him who died for all, Jesus our Savior. Thank You for the forgiveness of my sins, O Lord. Thank You. Thank You Lord, for my prayer partners and their families. Continue to bless them Heavenly Father. In the Mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
