BE ENCOURAGED MY SISTERS, BE ENCOURAGED MY BROTHERS
It’s amazing how sometimes we do things to people to intentionally hurt them. We say that we are their friends, but we are continually trying to dig ditches for them to fall in. We try to be friend them only to try and find out their business, they are trying to find out your resources, they are trying to find out your weak areas in order that they may prey on them. At bible study on this past Wednesday our Pastor touched on the fact that people sometimes try to trip us up by the evil things that they do.
I personally want to encourage all of you on today. Don’t worry about evildoers. Don’t worry about those who are trying to destroy your character. Don’t worry about the so call Christians who are being hypocrites. My advice to you is from the words of my Pastor, Rev. Charles B. Jackson, Sr. While the enemy is plotting, you keep on planning, while the enemy is plotting, you keep on praying because the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much.
The Bible says in Isaiah 54:17, No Weapon formed against you will prosper and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment will be condemned.
Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Rita, the war overseas, all these are the signs of the end times. It is time more then ever that we draw closer to God. Jesus is soon to come; the question is IF HE COMES ON TODAY, WOULD WE BE READY? We must always remember that people may never know what someone is doing to hurt them, but God always has His eyes on us. At the judgment day, we must give an account of everything that we have done.
Let’s encourage one another, let us help one another, and let us be our brother’s keeper and not destroyer. |
