On Super Bowl Sunday, February 5, 2006, Loretta Coleman Ministries sponsored the ministries annual Black History Gospel Super Bowl featuring special guest “The Swanee Quintet of Augusta Georgia.  At this celebration ten (10) unsung heroes were recognized for their work in the community.

On Saturday, July 29, 2006, Loretta Coleman Ministries sponsored a fundraising event for a co-worker whose leg was amputated, with featured guest The Racey Brothers.  The co-worker, Mrs. Rochelle Sims had (3) children.  As a result of the fundraiser, Loretta Coleman Ministries was able to purchase a car filled with household items and school supplies for the family.

On Sunday, August 13, 2006, Loretta Coleman Ministries sponsored a back to school concert featuring The Gospel Legends.  The highlight of the concert was distributing over 100 bags of school supplies to the children.  Also after the concert, Loretta Coleman Ministries was feed the children hotdogs and drinks.

From the week of August 10^th thru August 12th, Loretta Coleman Ministries joined forces with Glory Communications Radio Station to giveaway school supplies over the airwaves.
